Miss Carver Princess
This is the third year of the new Miss Carver event. We are looking for teenage girls age 15-18 to represent the City of Carver. Three contestants will be chosen as winners; the winner will be Miss Carver Princess, then we have a first runner up and the third will be Miss Congeniality. The winner will be crowned at Steamboat Days in September. Contestants will be judged on community service, personality, presentation and an essay. Winners will receive a scholarship.

Requirements:
- Age 15-18
- GPA of 2.0 or better
- Record of community service and volunteer work
- No negative information on MySpace, FaceBook or other media
- Deadline – August 1, 2009
Application and essay
$250 registration fee (can be made by individual or corporate sponsorship)
Contestants will perform community service and do fundraising activities this spring and summer up to Steamboat Days. The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and coronation will be Friday night at Steamboat Days. The winners will ride in the parade on Sunday and will continue to perform community service throughout the next year. All proceeds will go into a fund to give the girls as a scholarship.
